Mallee Ringneck

The Mallee Ringneck is a close relative of the Port Lincoln Ringneck (see below).
Quorn, in South Australia, is situated on the boundary of the territories of these two types of Ringnecks.

Tawny Dragon



Squamata/Agamidae/Ctenophorus Decresii
This is probably a female and is about 25 to 30 cm in overall length.  Lives in rock crevices and is found only in South Australia on the Yorke Peninsula and the Flinders Ranges.  Photographed in Alligator Gorge on Mount Remarkable.
